![]() My faves are the 2cAudio's verbs.the presets are shit for most things in my opinion but the reverb engines themselves and the ridiculous scope of tones and textures they can accomplish are phenomenal.you can get that big bloomy Valhalla thing going with better correlation and very abstractly putting it having a deeper sound 's defo not the verb you go for if you don't know much about reflections or reverb engines in fo a bit overkill for many i imagine ![]() I can hear it all over Noisia's stuff but i doubt Rob of Knife Party has utilised them much.if anything i can hear a lot of Lexicon in the Pendulum and Knife Party stuff.very realistic and room like with great stereo correlation and directionality between channels.my issue with the Valhalla stuff is yes it sounds lush, but it doesn't have much directionality and you have zero control over directionality as correlation between channels is fixed to some degree or another in the various algorithms.all you are given is a width control which is essentially just the volume on a MID/SIDE matrix.so,whilst i like the tone of them,i don't particularly like them when push comes to shove in a mix (that and i can notice them a mile away in peoples tunes e.g Noisia for example)
